Security Personnel

We are currently looking to hire several positions to join the Security Department team with The Towers of Key Biscayne. The ideal candidates must possess strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. Detailed-oriented and able to multitask. Meets and greets residents; controlling access to building, lobby duties such as reporting and handling cover concerns, and enforcing the rules and regulations. 

 

Starting Pay Rate: Full-Time $14.00 an hour. Includes full benefits after probation period.  

Schedule:  Various eight hours shifts available. Department is open seven days a week, twenty-four hours.   


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Greet and direct Residents, guests, and invitees.
  • Monitor CCTV Systems
  • Respond to emergencies promptly
  • Monitor and controls access to the building.
  • Maintain daily log, records, and forms.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
  • May be assigned other duties by the Chief of Security

 

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of job experience preferred.
  • Charismatic and excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable. English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Position requires some weekend and Holidays hours.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Charismatic and excellent customer service skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The ability to read, write, and speak the English language is a must. Must have reliable means of transportation. Have a clean criminal background and drug-free. Position requires some weekend and Holidays hours.

Pool and Beach Attendant

The responsibility of this department is hospitality support, not traditional lifeguard responsibilities.  In addition to serving the residents by providing information and assistance, this department of four maintains the facilities around our two pools and beach area, as well as supervising and enforcing the rules and regulations.

 

Starting Pay Rate: Full-Time $14.00 an hour. Includes full benefits after probation period.  

Schedule:  Afternoon/weekend shift available. 

 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees pool area (adult/children) and make safety announcements.
  • Assists with setting up and breakdown poolside and at the beach. Setting up of    lounges and chairs at the pool decks. Lounges and umbrella for beach attendant.
  • Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
  • Must be service-oriented.
  • Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
  • Must have the ability to work as a team member.
  • Must be accessible to and approachable with residents/guests.
  • Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry     out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Maintains proper First Aid/CPR certifications and Certified Pool Operator   certificate. Expenses are covered by the employer.

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Completion of College level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable. English language is a must.
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods;
  • Ability to respond to emergencies promptly
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.

Housekeeping Personnel

The responsibility of this position is to perform variety of cleaning projects for the property’s garage. May require training. Inspects work performed and submit reports to the Supervisor. Positions may be indoors to maintain the interior of the community, outdoors to maintain the exterior, or a mixture of both.

 

Starting Pay Rate: Full-Time $14.00 an hour. Includes full benefits after probation period. 

 Schedule:  Flexible schedule

 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and light painting.
  • Scrubs garage and lot surfaces through the use of scrubber/sweeper machines and water pressure machines.
  • Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
  • Maintain all cleaning solutions in accordance to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
  • Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
  • Inspect all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.

 

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of the materials, methods, and equipment typically used in janitorial work or general maintenance work.
  • Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
  • Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform heavy manual labor.
  • Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to cleaning equipment.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable. English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required
