Notice of Waiver of Fire Sprinkler Retrofitting (“Notice”)
Dear Unit Owners:
As you may be aware, on September 19, 2016, a special meeting of the members was held for the purpose of voting on the issue of whether to forego retrofitting the condominium buildings with a full fire sprinkler system (the “Special Meeting”). The vote to forego retrofitting the buildings with a full fire sprinkler system was approved at the Special Meeting by the affirmative vote of a majority of all voting interests in the Association in accordance with Section 718.112(2)(l), Florida Statutes. Specifically, 354 unit owners voted in favor of waiving the requirement to retrofit the buildings with a full fire sprinkler system and no unit owners voted against. Enclosed please find a copy of the Certificate Attesting to the Vote to Waive Retrofitting with a Full Fire Sprinkler System which was recorded in the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida on September 20, 2016.
This Notice is being provided to you in accordance with Section 718.112(2)(l), Florida Statutes. Please maintain this Notice with your Association records. Further, please be advised that pursuant to Section 718.112(2)(l), Florida Statutes, you are required to provide a copy of this Notice to anyone purchasing your unit prior to closing on your unit or to anyone renting your unit prior to signing a lease.
