As you know from earlier mailings and emails, our annual election, this year for three of our Board seats, will be held on March 11th. We hope and encourage you to be a part of selecting who you would like to represent you on our Association’s Board.
REMINDER: If you are interested in being a candidate for the TKB Board, please submit the application form, available by link or sent to you received last month with your budget mailing, by no later than January 30th
We anticipate mailing the voting materials, including ballots, candidate names and, if available, biographical information of all candidates to all of our owners during the first week in February.
We plan to schedule a virtual “Candidate’s Night”, similar to what was done last year. The candidates will each be offered up to 5 minutes to speak about themselves and their qualifications and goals for being on the TKB Board. That will be followed by a moderator asking up to 60 minutes of questions previously submitted by our owners. We hope you’ll participate and send questions as described below.
All owners are encouraged to submit their ballots, preferably by mail as early as possible so we don’t encounter problems due to reported slow downs in postal service deliveries. If you prefer, they can be dropped off at the office. For security purposes, as we’ve done in the past, all ballots will be delivered to Sokol & Sokol who will confirm they are properly submitted, and will deliver them to Siegfried Rivera, our outside attorneys, on March 11th who, with the Independent Committee, will tally the vote and announce the results.
ACTIONS FOR OWNERS:
If you are interested in running for a board position, submit your application form to the Management Office by no later than January 30th, 2021.
Submit any questions you would like candidates to answer at the Candidate’s Night (either individually or generally) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please notify the Management Office if you’d be willing to volunteer to be on our Independent Committee that will assist with the counting of ballots.
Please send in your ballots as early as practical so as to ensure arrival prior to March 11.
