As you may be aware Tropical Storm Isaias has formed in the Atlantic Ocean and is currently heading towards Florida. According to The Weather Channel advisory earlier this morning, first impact from the storm could be felt in parts of Florida as soon as Saturday. Current projections show winds of 70mph by the time the storm arrives to Florida’s southeast coast.
Management will continue to closely monitor the storms development and update residents on our response to the storm as needed. Please note that in preparation for the storm, management will be taking the following actions:
No maintenance personnel will be available to work in units starting this Friday, since we are preparing for the storm.
We ask that residents bring in any furniture, plants etc., from your balconies.
Friday afternoon all beach/pool furniture will be collected and secured.
We encourage those of you that have a watercraft equipment to either remove it from the property or to ensure that it is tied down securely. Management will not be responsible for any damaged equipment.
BBQ will be closed on Saturday & Sunday.
If you received notification of a package, please stop by receiving to collect.
Do not use any parking space that does not belong to you/or your unit.
Do not park on the ramps, as this will be a safety issue for cars exiting the building.
If you are going to stay for the storm, please stock up on emergency supplies such as water, batteries, flashlights, etc. as well as keeping cell phones charged. Make sure to be safe and prepared.
We recommend residents to have a plan in place in the event the storm comes our way. Residents should also follow the development of the storm as well as any advisories from the Village Officials.
